Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted here. But I thought I'd start again with a photo I took last week, of a gorgeous iris. I take a lot of flower pictures -- but somehow when I'm strolling around with my camera and see a flower, I can't resist the urge to hone in on some delicate feature or luscious color.
This iris is a good example of complimentary colors in nature -- that purple and yellow are so exciting together.
