My next door neighbors have a backyard arbor covered with wisteria vines. I keep watch on it, and when it is in bloom they let me come over and take pictures. So here's a photography tip for you: Don't be afraid to ask if you can take pictures somewhere! I just say I'm learning photography and I've never had anyone say no.
This picture is from last year's blooming season, when I was so taken by these brand new, fuzzy leaves. I'm about to try to translate this photo into fabric and thread (I'm thinking that fuzz will make for some fun stitching) so stay tuned.
